Role Description

Full-time role for an Architectural Designer or Associate, officing in Denton, TX, with opportunities to work remotely. You will be responsible for developing design concepts, creating detailed plans and drawings in Revit Architecture, and collaborating with the design director, team members, clients, consultants, and contractors. MKOA provides full architecture and interior design services, permit drawings, and construction sets. Daily tasks include conducting site visits, creating 3D models, drafting drawing sets for regulatory approval as well as bidding and construction, selecting interior and exterior specifications, preparing presentations, and ensuring the design meets the client's needs and budget. You will also coordinate with consultants, suppliers, and contractors to support design decisions made during construction and ensure project timelines are met.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in design software, Revit + Enscape/Twinmotion

• Ability to create detailed plans, design intent presentations, and 3D models in Revit

• Ability to draft building sections, permit sets, and construction detailing for review

• Interested in material selection, sourcing, design details, and budgeting

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

• Experience in architecture and interior design

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture with at least 1 year of work experience on Construction Documents preferred.
